How to Get to Daejeon

Incheon International Airport has two terminals: Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2). The airport limousine bus departs from T2, stops at T1, and then heads straight to Daejeon. This means no matter which terminal you land at, catching the bus is incredibly easy. Just follow these simple steps:

If You Arrive at Terminal 2 (T2)

1. Head Downstairs: Once you clear customs and exit the arrival gate, take the escalator down to Basement Level 1 (B1).
2. Buy Your Ticket: You can purchase your bus ticket to Daejeon either from an automated kiosk or at the manned ticket office. If you’re worried about the language barrier, simply show the photo below to the ticket agent.
3. Board the Bus: Head outside to the bus boarding area and look for Bus Stop No. 5.

If You Arrive at Terminal 1 (T1)

1. Get Your Ticket: Right after exiting the arrival gate, you’ll find ticket kiosks and a ticket office nearby. Grab your ticket to Daejeon there. (Tip: If you need help, you can show the photo above to the staff.)
2. Board the Bus: Once you have your ticket, head outside to Bus Stop 11A-3 to catch your ride.

Before boarding, you can show the screen below to the driver or bus staff to double-check. It’s always a good idea to make sure you’re getting on the right one!

Useful Information: Bus Fare & Travel Time

• Travel Time: It takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours from Incheon Airport to Daejeon, depending on traffic conditions.
• Bus Fare (The information is accurate as of July 2026 and is subject to change)
  • Standard Bus: Around 27,700 KRW
  • Premium Bus (Deluxe): Around 35,900 KRW
• Tip: Buses run frequently, but it is highly recommended to book your ticket immediately upon arrival, especially during peak travel seasons or weekends

There are three bus stops in Daejeon, but you’ll want to get off at either Government Complex Station or the final stop, Daejeon Complex Bus Terminal.

• Heading to your hotel first? We recommend staying near Yuseong Hot Springs. If so, get off at Government Complex Station.
• Heading straight to the Gyejoksan Barefoot Trail? Stay on the bus until the very end and get off at Daejeon Complex Bus Terminal.
